 This 4 day gorilla tracking safari offers you 2 times opportunity to trek mountian gorillas in Volcanoes National Park. Two days dedicated to tracking the gorilas in Rwanda's Parc Nationale des Volcanoes. One gorilla permit is included in the cost but the other gorilla trackings require other permits to be paid at time of booking. Having a chance to see some of the last remaining 700 mountain gorillas in the world is a wonderful experience. It offers you an opportunity to track gorillas two times. Parc Nationale des Volcanoes in Rwanda has five habituated gorilla families and tracking most groups in the afro-montane forest usually takes a few hours. You can also climb a volcano, visit the remains of Dian Fossey's grave or visit the endangered golden monkey.

Noisy and curious, intelligent and social, the chimpanzee is the mammal most closely related to a human than to any other living creature. Chimpanzee share more than 98% of their genetic code with human beings. The chimpanzee has a thickset body with long arms, short legs and no tail. Much of the body is covered with long black hair, but the face, ears, fingers and toes are bare. They have hands that can grip firmly, allowing them to pick up objects. The discovery that they used "tools" for certain purposes surprised the world Chimps live in groups called troops, of some 30 to 80 individuals. These large groups are made up of smaller, very flexible groups of just a few animals, perhaps all females, all males or a mixed group.

The cultural tour begins with a trip to Omwami’s palace in Nyanza, proceeding to the locally revered hot springs of Rugarama near Nyungwe Forest in South West of Rwanda. You may drive to Gisenyi, where Ross Carr’s orphanage with thousands of orphans is found. Visit a local lake. End your trip in Ruhengeri, where the Batwa pigmies, an animist community were recently resettled. Here a cultural performance by the Batwa can be organized for you.
