Gorilla Forest Camp Bwindi is probably the most luxurious and comfortable accommodation and lodging facitlity in the Buhoma area of Bwindi National park located about 500m from the park gate. The Lodge is a secluded self-contained walk-in twin tents are protected beneath a thutch roof extending over a private deck, while meals and drinks are served in an organically decorated open-sided common area. Mountain Gorillas, a good number of birds and monkeys occassionaly pass through the grounds. As of 2012, the facility faced a major renovation to enhance guests’ comfort during their stay and new facilities were added v New tents, new quality linen, floor rugs, decor and furniture v Hair dryers in all the tents v A new state of the art kitchen and storage facility 9. v New water treatment plant v Menus have been improved adding value to the price v Modern Laundry facility that allows guests to get same day service. v New staff housing, Kitchen and Canteen, DSTV & Staff shop for staff welfare
